We grabbed a campsite near Mt. Washington and started of with a trip to the top of the mountain via the old cog railroad. We were rewarded with 40 degree temps and 50 mile an hour winds - balmy by Mt. Washington standards. After that, we toured around the park looking for covered bridges and waterfalls - and we were rewarded with several of both. We wrapped up with a hike to the Zealand AMC hut. The colors were absolutely mind bending and the overcast skies made the trees seem even brighter (if thats possible). See the pictures |
